The Openwork Partnership in Swindon is seeking a Payment Services Adviser for a 12-month fixed-term contract. It’s based in our Swindon office three days per week and offers benefits including a salary of £25,000 and a comprehensive pension scheme. You will help process adviser income and maintain high-quality records.

You will allocate income, support the finance team with analysis, and train advisers on submission requirements while collaborating with provider and agency teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of VAT and financial services regulation is desirable.
• Ability to work with large data sets and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• To assist the business in processing income attributable to financial advisers
• Allocate income received to business submissions
• Process income in line with company procedures
• Investigate unallocated transactions and action where required to allow their allocation
• Maintain accurate and timely financial records
• Support the Finance Team with ad hoc analysis where relevant
• Provide modular and ad-hoc adviser training on submission requirements and reporting systems
• Establish and maintain relationships with product provider commission & agency teams
• Analyse and report trends in submission errors and queries to support ongoing adviser engagement programmes
• Demonstrate flexibility by responding to internal customer requests in a positive and timely manner

As a Payment Services Adviser, you willact as a member of the Payment Services team, helping to achieve its operational objectives and ensuring that it delivers a high quality and cost effective service.

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, based in our Swindon office three days per week.

Key Accountabilities:

• To assist the business in processing income attributable to financial advisers
• Allocate income received to business submissions
• Process income in line with company procedures

What will you need to succeed?

Knowledge of the following areas is essential:

• Understanding of VAT
• Knowledge of financial services legislation, regulation and accounts
