A global telecommunications business in London seeks a talented Payments Processor to join their Treasury Department. The successful candidate will manage liquidity through accurate reporting, payment execution, and banking infrastructure arrangement, while supporting process improvements. This role is ideal for a Treasury Analyst experienced in payments solutions, offering a hybrid work model.
Brewer Morris are delighted to be working with a global telecommunications business, based in London, with the search for a talented Payments Processor to join their growing team.
As the Payments Processor, you will work within the Treasury Department, sharing responsibility for managing the Group’s liquidity. Treasury delivers a tangible contribution by providing the senior leadership team with timely and accurate reporting, smooth execution of critical payments and arrangement of banking infrastructure.
Working closely with Accounts Payable to review and release the Group’s payments, you will support the maintaining of the Group’s bank account structure and banking systems, produce daily, weekly and monthly cash and debt reports, arrange bank guarantees, and continue driving process improvement and automation across the function.
Duties –
Prepare the Group’s daily cash position, providing commentary on movements
Prepare the weekly cash forecast to assess size of payment runs and liquidity requirements
Prepare internal funding in preparation for the Group’s payment runs
Support the Treasury team with reviewing and updating financial signatories for the Group’s bank accounts
Support the Treasury team with reviewing and updating users on the electronic banking platforms
Support the Treasury team to implement and document internal governance
Experience Sought –
Experience working with a fast paced company with a well-built treasury function
Experience in process improvements or project management
Ability to work with senior stakeholders and external providers
Ability to challenge processes
Diligent, reliable, and self-motivated
Advance Excel skills
Experience using consolidated bank reporting and payment systems – Cobase desirable
Ideally studying towards Treasury Fundamentals or ACCA/AAT
This role is ideal for a Treasury Analyst that has acquired extensive exposure to payments and payment solutions.
This company offers a hybrid working model with a presence in the office 3 days a week and 2 days working from home/ other locations.
