Are you a detail-driven professional with a passion for accuracy and efficiency in financial operations? We're looking for a Global Payments Team Authorizer to join our fast-paced, high-performing team in Belfast.

As a key member of the Global Payments Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate authorization of payments transactions across global markets. You'll collaborate with various internal teams, support junior members, and help drive process improvements in a deadline-oriented environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Reviewing, authorizing, and reconciling payment transactions within strict deadlines, whilst responding to queries and performing detailed investigations as needed
  • Managing payment workflows and collaborating closely with the workflow manager
  • Validating payments packs for accuracy before submission to authorizing parties
  • Providing guidance and training to junior team members
  • Contributing to risk identification, error reporting, and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven payments or financial operations environment
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and support junior colleagues
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Team player mindset with a commitment to quality.
