Job description

ConsultANZ is looking for a Pavement Civil Engineer in New Zealand. The project involves road maintenance in New Zealand. This role is based locally, and the client is open to sponsoring a work visa for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the Project Manager in delivering pavement and asphalt roading works from start to finish.
2. Prepare and manage project documentation, including ITPs, QA reports, cost tracking, and daily site records.
3. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project milestones.
4. Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
5. Assist with project programs, schedules, and resource planning.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in road construction projects.
3. Strong knowledge of pavement construction methods, asphalt placement, and road surfacing.
4. Experience with QA/QC processes, site inspections, and documentation.
