Job Description:

ConsultANZ is looking for a Pavement Civil Engineer in New Zealand. The project involves road maintenance work in New Zealand. This role is based in New Zealand. The client is open to sponsoring a New Zealand work visa for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Project Manager in delivering pavement and asphalt roading works from start to finish.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including ITPs, QA reports, cost tracking, and daily site records.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project milestones.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
  • Assist with project programs, schedules, and resource planning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer in road construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of pavement construction methods, asphalt placement, and road surfacing.
  • Experience with QA/QC processes, site inspections, and documentation.
  • Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
