Purpose of the job:

To assist with the laminating of components and tooling across various industry sectors, sizes, and complexities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Final preparation of tooling block patterns and aluminium moulds
• Using hand tools, small air tools, and abrasive paper to a high standard
• Spraying patterns and final prep to a high standard
• Assembly of jigs and fixtures
• Preparation of low melting temperature moulds
• Checking route card instructions for accuracy
• Following company processes
• Maintaining all equipment
• Keeping the department clean and tidy

Skills:

• Previous experience in a pattern shop or similar environment
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to follow work instructions
• Awareness of health and safety
• Good verbal communication and listening skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Calmness under pressure
