Job summary

APCOA PARKING UK in London is seeking an Environmental Enforcement Officer to patrol Ealing and Hounslow, enforcing local environmental laws and issuing notices. The role is outdoors, customer-facing and involves upholding environmental conduct across streets.

Applicants should have experience in enforcement and a full UK driving licence. The position offers 40 hours per week, with shifts across 5 days and weekend work, plus training and pension provisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in enforcement work (security work acceptable).
• Knowledge of green services such as cleansing and waste collection is desirable.
• Ability to engage with diverse audiences and work in a team.
• Ability to handle complaints and resolve complex issues.
• Enthusiasm and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Hold a full clean manual UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce laws within Ealing and Hounslow and pursue action where appropriate.
• Examine reports of littering, fly tipping and dog fouling and other offences.
• Issue Fixed Penalty Notices when appropriate.
• Prepare and submit cases for trial and assist in court when needed.
• Record witness statements and verify offender details.
