About The Role

A Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising a dedicated sub-department within a production unit, ensuring that team members carry out their duties to high standards. They will oversee two Production Assistants responsible for receiving baked goods from Pastry Chefs, packaging, labeling, and dispatching products to various customers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee packaging of Patisserie products according to company standards.
• Ensure timely and professional completion of packing and dispatch duties.
• Adhere to Soil Association organic standards.
• Maintain high standards of product quality and compliance.
• Manage stock levels of packaging materials.
• Supervise team to ensure diligent and high-quality work.
• Ensure correct procedures are followed for traceability and due diligence.
• Complete tasks efficiently within set timeframes.
• Work safely to meet order fulfillment targets.
• Minimize wastage.
• Comply with audit requirements.
• Assist in achieving financial and budgetary targets.
• Complete mandatory training.
• Develop and motivate team members.
• Represent Daylesford Organic positively as a brand ambassador.
• Support development of future Production Supervisors.
