First (Days)Overview:
As a Patient Transporter with Sentara, you will safely escort and transport patients within all areas of the hospital using proper body mechanics. The Patient Transporter strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara. You will be responsible for clear communication with staff, visitors, and patients, and ensuring effective information exchange between Central Transport and other departments.

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certification/Licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required within 90 days of hire
