We have a new opening for a Materials II. This is a full time 40hrs/wk position working days in our busy Patient Supplies Team. Patient Supplies is located in York, Maine.
The Materials II position is a member of the Patient Supplies group, and is principally responsible for maintaining inventory of supplies, managing and approving requisitions and purchase orders, and ensuring medical supply needs are met. This position is also responsible for developing and implementing new Materials processes and ensuring accurate and up to date information in our Materials Management software.

Primary Responsibilities include:

1. Maintains appropriate inventory levels of all supplies.
2. Reviews, edits, approves and verifies transmission of purchase orders.
3. Ensures that requisitions for supplies (or linen) and e-mail requests are filled in an accurate and timely manner.
4. Provides exceptional customer service.
5. Understands and follows all receiving processes including counting and signing for deliveries.

1. Minimum (2) or more years of purchasing/material management experience in a healthcare facility. Surgical supplies preferred.
2. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
3. Attention to detail.
4. Able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
