Are you a calm, empathetic individual with healthcare and/or busy GP reception experience looking for a meaningful remote role?

LineIn is seeking Patient Services Coordinators to provide essential call handling support to GP practices across the UK.

What You'll Do:

  • Be the first point of contact for patients, handling high volumes of inbound calls.
  • Listen, collect key patient information, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Direct patients to the right care quickly and safely (no medical advice given) using a Total Triage system.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound patient calls professionally and efficiently, meeting KPIs as required - 12 calls per hour.
  • Recognise urgent cases and escalate appropriately.
  • Guide patients to online self-service tools when appropriate.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to Data Protection regulations.
  • Work effectively within a structured rota aligned with GP surgery hours.
  • Stay engaged in ongoing training and team collaboration.


You’ll Be Trained To:

  • Spot medical red flags and escalate when necessary.
  • Use basic AI-supported tools.
  • Stay professional under pressure, especially with sensitive or urgent cases.
  • Promote online self-help tools.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times.

Shifts & Working Hours
Contracted Hours of Operation: Between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday, 30 or 35 hours per week.


We operate within GP surgery hours, so your shifts will be planned accordingly. This means you will need to be available to work a mix of both morning shifts and afternoon shifts. Hours are subject to change based on service requirements. You’ll always have advance notice of your schedule, ensuring a balanced approach to work and life

What We're Looking For:

  • 1+ year of call-handling, customer-facing and patient-facing experience.
  • Minimum 1 year's experience of EMIS or SystemOne, gained within the last year.
  • Confident with Google Workspace.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills (40 WPM typing speed).
  • High emotional intelligence, empathy, and resilience.
  • Ability to follow processes and thrive in a remote setting.
  • Availability for a mix of morning and afternoon shifts aligned with GP surgery hours.
