Job Description:

Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 2 (aligned with AFC) £22,383 per annum

Hours/Contract: Full time – 37.5 hours per week (Shifts are 8am to 4pm)

Contract Type: Permanent

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent organisational, administrative, and minute-taking skills with effective communication at all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing changing priorities
  • Experience in a Health or Social Care setting
  • Flexible approach, supporting colleagues and reception as needed

This role is based at the ward reception, serving as the primary contact on the Inpatient Unit. Responsibilities include processing inpatient referrals, preparing admission documentation, updating patient records, supporting multidisciplinary team meetings, coordinating discharge and transport, maintaining ward stationery, and managing weekly supplies orders online.
