Role Overview: Patient Service Advisor

At our Glasgow Hospital, you will provide vital support and build strong relationships. You should be confident, customer-focused, and capable of managing, appraising, and interpreting data professionally and promptly. Good IT and keyboard skills are essential. Experience in administrative or customer-facing roles is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

1. Handle customer enquiries via telephone and website, providing information about hospital services.
2. Communicate effectively with customers by phone, email, and face-to-face, delivering excellent customer service.
3. Provide information about hospital services and treatments, addressing all queries effectively.
4. Log enquiries on the hospital CRM and oversee the customer journey.
5. Book appointments, ensuring GDPR compliance.
6. Respond promptly to all customer interactions.
7. Collaborate with Consultants and Medical Secretaries to provide patient services.
8. Welcome visitors warmly, including patients, consultants, and visitors.
9. Transfer clinic lists accurately onto the Patient Information Management System (PIMS), checking patient details to prevent duplicates.
10. Monitor departmental email inboxes and take appropriate actions.
11. Coordinate bookings and allocate clinic rooms with staff and medical secretaries.
12. Check in patients and schedule future treatments via desk and telephone.
