We are looking for Patient Services Advisors to join us at our practice located in the vibrant Brighton centre. This is a permanent position working 24 hours across the weekend, specifically from 7:45 am to 8:15 pm on Saturday and Sunday. You would be the first point of contact for all patients at the practice. Your responsibilities include booking appointments using our system, greeting patients upon arrival, and notifying the appropriate clinician. While in the waiting room, patients would be under your care, and you would need to observe them and alert staff if any immediate health concerns arise.
You will handle patient inquiries via email, phone, and in person, always maintaining a courteous and empathetic approach. Some conversations may involve sensitive information, so confidentiality must be upheld at all times.
As the receptionist, you will ensure the reception area is tidy and safe. You will also keep accurate records and perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing. Additionally, you will process repeat prescriptions as needed.
