The Patient Scheduling Representative is responsible for verifying and collecting patient demographic and insurance information via direct data entry into the electronic medical record during scheduling/referrals. They conduct face-to-face or inbound/outbound telephonic interviews with patients or authorized representatives to secure information related to requested services, accurately documenting all activities in the encounter, schedule book, and patient chart. The role requires a customer-centric approach in all interactions and an understanding of performance standards as defined by Integrated Patient Scheduling Management. The primary location is hybrid (remote and on-site as needed).
