Under the direction of the Lead Midwife for Patient Safety the post holder will be responsible for the provision of practical support, expertise and facilitation to the Service Line, across a wide range of patient safety and quality improvement activities.
This is Luton based with cross site working
The post holder will ensure that the Service Line is appropriately supported in order to deliver their Quality Governance agenda in line with the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF).

The post holder will give a provision of support relating to the management and investigation of Patient Safety Incident Investigations (PSIIs), incident reporting, risk registers, clinical audit plans and clinical effectiveness activity. The post-holder will also work closely with the Quality Governance teams (patient safety, audit & effectiveness etc.) and provide a link between the Trust Management Directorate and the Service Line
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
