Job summary

The Patient Safety Manager is a crucial role in supporting services to achieve effective quality governance by embedding effective incident management and review processes into practice, supporting clinical teams and services with qualityimprovement in quality and patient safety, ensuring robust structures are in place for good practice to be shared and learning to take place proactively across teams in order to continue to build and embed the foundations of a strong patient safety culture across the organisation.

Main duties of the job

To drive improvements in the quality and safety of services for our patients and service users, drawing on information and learning from incident reviews, positive practice, networks and nationally published reports.
