Job summary

This role supports planning and execution of patient recruitment and retention activities for clinical trials, collaborating with internal teams and sites to raise awareness among potential participants.

The position offers a temporary 6-month arrangement, with office-based work and flex (3 days at the clinic) in Warwickshire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, marketing, communications, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Initial experience in clinical research, patient services, marketing, or a customer-focused role is preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with a patient-centric mindset.
• Comfort working with spreadsheets, trackers and standard office software.
• Willingness to learn about patient recruitment practices and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the implementation of patient recruitment strategies, tactics, and materials under guidance of senior team members.
• Assisting with coordination of site-level outreach activities, including tracking recruitment tools, materials and local initiatives.
• Maintaining recruitment trackers and reports, ensuring data is accurate and up to date for study teams and stakeholders.
• Helping manage patient and site-facing communication channels, such as helplines, email or digital platforms, in line with guidance.
• Collaborating with internal teams to gather information on recruitment performance and contribute to basic analysis of trends.
• Supporting documentation, filing and quality checks for recruitment-related materials to maintain audit readiness.
