An established industry player in healthcare is seeking a Patient Pathway Coordinator to join their dynamic administration team. Working as a member of the administration team to provide a comprehensive administration role to the Unit, ensuring that all patients are dealt with in a professional and courteous manner, which endorses the patient centred approach of the team.
Assist in the clerical function of the Unit. Work proactively to ensure that Outpatient clinics and Theatre lists are filled to capacity at all times and report any shortfalls and any difficulties experienced with the booking of patients and the capacity available to the Booking Lead & Patient Referral Manager.
Working 37.5 hours a week. You will work 8 hour shifts between Monday - Friday 9am - 17.00pm or 10.00am-18.00pm, we work on a rota system so shifts will vary week on week.
Any weekend shifts will be deemed unsociable hours and there will be an increase in the hourly rate should you work them. To see what it's like working for the Practice Plus Group, please see the video of testimonials below.
As a Patient Pathway Coordinator at Practice Plus Group Shepton Mallet, you will provide a comprehensive Admin service to the unit ensuring that all patients are treated in a professional and courteous manner, endorsing the patient centred approach of the team.
You will be experienced in dealing with the public, both in person and over the phone, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to manage difficult situations in a calm manner.
Your previous experience of working in a reception role in a healthcare or service sector will be invaluable but just as important is your ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, work flexibly and prioritise your own workload when under pressure.
