The historic St Bartholomew's site of Barts Health is offering an exciting opportunity to join the Barts Heart Centre as a Patient Pathway Co-ordinator / Secretary for the Intervention & EP Teams. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to carry out secretarial tasks for specific consultants / Registrars with the unit.

This individual will also front validate patients pathways from clinic. Tasks will also include typing and sending out all clinic letters within a 5-day turnaround from clinic and ensuring that relevant tests have been requested and undertaken so that patients can be treated within 18 weeks of referral.

This individual will be working closely with other admin teams within the service (scheduling, outpatients and inpatient admin teams), also clinical teams in the area and beyond. The post holder will be required to work as a team and take leadership from their Line Manager and Deputy Delivery Manager.

The post holder is required to assist in the implementation of processes and improvements within the service. Ensuring that service requirements are met and national targets are adhered to.
