Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Food Servery Assistant for our adult mental health hospital in Stockport. The role is full-time (32 hours/week), with shifts 10:00–18:00 and some weekend work. You will serve meals, manage temperatures, and keep the servery area clean.

The post supports a 7-day operation with weekend-off rotation and a focus on patient meals. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player, punctual and accurate with compliance paperwork, and committed to safeguarding

Qualifications

• Good team player, punctual and accurate with compliance paperwork.
• Able to follow procedures to ensure food safety and patient welfare.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to patients on wards and ensure correct portioning.
• Record food temperatures and fridge/freezer temperatures; maintain clean servery area after each service.
