Job summary

The Humber Health Partnership is seeking an enthusiastic post holder to support a comprehensive catering service across our hospital sites. You will help prepare and serve meals to patients while adhering to food safety standards and NHS policies.

The role requires basic food safety training, relevant NVQ levels, and a cooperative, reliable team member who can work on own initiative and manage time effectively. The shift pattern includes days, weekends, and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 1 in a relevant subject is required.
• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent; food safety Level 2 or above.
• NVQ Level 2 or above in a relevant subject.
• National Care Certificate; minimum 2 years catering experience.
• Knowledge of HACCP/Food Safety; good verbal and written communication.
• Be able to work on own initiative and in a team; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing a comprehensive and cost-effective catering service.
• Meet service timescales and work across two hospital sites.
• Plan, assess, evaluate and implement patient care.
• Participate in standard setting and research projects.
• Evidence of clinical and professional development.
