Job summary

HCA Healthcare UK is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant at London Bridge Hospital to support patient care and hospital operations. The role involves cleaning patient rooms, public areas, and staff spaces, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients and visitors.

Shifts are 08:00–20:00, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days from 7 including weekends. In return, you’ll receive a competitive hourly rate (£14.80) and comprehensive benefits as part of a large multisite healthcare group.

Qualifications

• Be aware of hygiene standards.

• Able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, public areas and staff spaces to the required standards.
• Maintain a safe, tidy and presentable hospital environment.
• Work with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to support hospital operations.
• Attend mandatory training on an annual basis.
