An exciting opportunity has arisen for patient-focused Advisors/Call Handlers to support our busy National Team, based at our Head Office in Great Park (NE13 9BA). This position offers a hybrid working arrangement.

This role is ideal for recent psychology graduates with administrative experience.

Current Vacancies:

  • 37.5 hours per week, permanent contract
  • 37.5 hours per week, 6-month contract

As a Patient Coordinator, you will work flexibly across all our services, managing calls and referrals, and assisting clients experiencing various mental health conditions. You will liaise between patients and the clinical team, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery, managing patient journeys efficiently and in accordance with targets and timescales.

About You:

  • Excellent communication skills, caring, empathetic, and committed to making a difference
  • Confident on the phone, with training provided to guide patients calmly and logically
  • Resilient and resourceful, capable of handling distressing or emergency calls
  • Strong customer service skills and a confident telephone manner
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit
  • Computer literate, with good understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to meet performance targets

Preferred experience includes call handling and working with the public in healthcare or contact centre environments. Candidates should have the drive and resilience to work under pressure, with fast and accurate typing skills, and a good educational background. The role requires calmness under pressure, problem-solving skills, and excellent interpersonal skills with an empathetic nature.

During training, full-time office presence is required. Please note, this role does not qualify for sponsorship under UK Visa and Immigration regulations.
