Job description

A new opportunity has become available for a Qualified Dental Nurse to work as a Private Orthodontic/Facial Aesthetics Receptionist/Patient Co-ordinator. at a specialist private practice located near Sloan Square, London.

Start date – As soon as possible

This role is to work full time or part time.

Job Description for orthodontic, relevant dental, orthognathic surgery, and aesthetic procedures:
• Diary coordination (making appointments and appointment confirmation)
• Building rapport with patients, referring dentists, and businesses
• Administration duties (filing photos, helping with reports and referrals, scanning)
• Treatment discussions and before and aftercare instructions
• answering patient queries regarding treatment in consultation with the clinical team as needed
• Managing patient statement of accounts and billing.
• Follow up from consultations for treatment starts
• Chairside nursing for aesthetic and orthodontic/dental procedures
• Mastering Tops software and liaising with the team in Atlanta, USA as needed.
• Mastering Pabau software and liaising with the parent company in the USA as needed.
• Scanning and filing to be uploaded into OneDrive and Software programs
• Photographs to be uploaded into OneDrive and Software programs
• CQC Folder updates – including keeping track of new staff and their required documents and CPD. CQC is largely managed by an external company.
• Lab work and postage tracking
• Taking payments and banking and keeping track of patient accounts.
• Labwork – making of retainers and study models/liaising with other staff or labs.
• iTero Scanning and iTero software useage
• Impression Taking
• Taking and filing clinical photographs

The ideal candidate will be/have:

Excellent command of written and spoken English
Ideally, GDC Registered DCP, or NMC

Salary - From £30,000 pro rata

In order to apply, candidates must be fully qualified and GDC registered with UK practice experience.
