The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is recruiting for a Catering Assistant role based at Pinderfields Hospital, with duties across Dewsbury and Pontefract Hospitals as required.

You will provide a safe, hygienic, nutritious and timely food service for patients, ensuring HACCP compliance and adherence to Trust Food Safety Policy. The role requires flexibility to work across-site catering and a 37.5-hour week on a 5 over 7 rota.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of regulatory catering hygiene requirements.
• Ability to follow written and given instructions.
• Previous experience in a commercial catering environment.
• Awareness of health and safety and COSHH regulations.
• Level Two Food Hygiene certificate or IEHO is required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure smooth running of the food preparation and serving areas for patients.
• Willingness to work within other areas of the catering department to maintain continuity of service.
• Observe food hygiene legislation and Trust Food Safety Policy (HACCP) at all times.
