Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Royal Cornwall Hospital for an enthusiastic, motivated, and hardworking individual to join the team.

This position requires flexibility to accommodate the needs of the service, good communication skills, and a positive and professional attitude.

Main duties of the job

1. To be responsible for completing the radio tasks assigned to the patient catering team from soft facilities helpdesk in a timely manner.
2. To deliver out of hours meals and other requested food items to wards and clinical areas as per the allocated radio task, following set procedures and specifications.
3. To maintain hygiene standards within the out of hours kitchens and ensure compliance with Food Safety Legislation.
4. Support the patient catering service in delivering meals to clinical areas not covered by full-time ward catering assistants.
5. Ensure high standards of Food Hygiene and cleanliness are always maintained.
