Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, with CNA/MA or EMT certification, or nursing student/LPN with basic nursing coursework; BLS certification is provided. The hospital emphasizes inclusive care and professional development.

The multidisciplinary team includes experts in neurology, neurosurgery, rehabilitative medicine, psychiatry, psychology, neuropsychology, sports medicine, and developmental behavioral medicine. The Children’s Neurology & Neurosurgery Program was recognized as a Top 50 program for 2024–2025 by U.S. News & World Report.

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs direct patient care tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse and performs various tasks as competency documentation designates. Work occasionally requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange relevant information. Communication with external contacts involves providing or giving factual information.
Minimum 17.37/hour - Maximum 26.91/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
