Job summary

medneo UK seeks a Healthcare Assistant at our London Diagnostic Centre to welcome and support patients, prepare them for MRI/Ultrasound procedures, and assist radiographers across multiple modalities. This fixed-term maternity cover involves a 37.5-hour week over 3 days, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for CPD.

You will contribute to safe, patient-centered care while adhering to ISO and MHRA guidelines within a busy, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with patients in a healthcare environment.
• Certified in phlebotomy or cannulation.
• Highly organised with a positive, can-do attitude and ability to manage workload.
• Excellent communication and people skills with patients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and assist with examination paperwork.
• Escort patients to waiting areas and prepare for procedures.
• Explain procedures, answer questions and reassure patients.
• Assist Radiographers in preparing patients for examinations.
• Support MRI safety and Radiation Protection regulations in daily tasks.
• Coordinate scheduling and room preparation for ultrasound and screening services.
