Falkland Veterinary Clinic are looking for someone to join us as a Patient Care Assistant at our busy, first opinion small animal practice, based in Newbury, Berkshire on Saturday mornings, 8.30am - 12.30pm.

About the role

The Patient Care Assistant role is one of the foundations of veterinary practice, and as a PCA you will be involved in supporting our team of qualified Nurses and Vets to provide outstanding care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting Vets and Nurses in restraining animals for treatment
  • Cleaning, walking, and feeding patients
  • Preparation of emergency and operating facilities
  • General cleaning and maintenance duties
  • Running internal lab samples
  • Answering emergency calls
