The Patient Care Aide (PCA) role supports patients with linens, mobility, and vitals, participates in exams and procedures, and helps maintain a safe, efficient perioperative

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant license preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care by assisting with changing linens, ambulation, and transport.
• Assists during patient examinations and procedures and records vital signs.
• Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment and supports peri-operative nursing care.

Education
