Job Title –Patient Advisor – Private Healthcare

Job Location –Manchester

Salary –£25k basic with a £35k OTE

Our client is recruiting a patient advisor to promote, counsel, inform and prepare potential patients, in accordance with company values.

The role will be Clinic or Roadshow based and will include weekend working and evenings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving personal sales targets as agreed with Regional Operations Manager or Clinic Manager
  • Be aware of the importance of the Clinic Capacity report and the importance of seeing patients within 7 days
  • Responsible for own diary management, using a diary on outlook, booking dates 4 weeks in advance, prioritising clinic cover and demands of the business
  • Follow up patients previously consulted using tracker sheets and Clinic Master
  • Promote the values in a positive manner
  • Maintain competitor awareness to support effective patient communication
  • Counsel Surgical patients
  • Chaperone on Surgeon and Botox day
  • Ensure patient care by adherence to specific cosmetic procedure manuals and protocols
  • Utilise agreed company protocols and pathways for effective service to patients
  • Ensure surgeon’s protocol, care pathway and directions are followed and report any variance to surgeon
  • Document all contact made with patients and store records securely

Quality and Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with company policies (health and safety, COSHH, risk assessment, fire regulations, infection control, decontamination, adverse events & complaints – this includes the professional management & monitoring by you of any complaint)
  • Promote quality care and service through the use of best practice
  • Research, initiate and evaluate new ideas to foster continuous improvement
  • Have read, understand and adhere to policies and procedures set by clinical services

Professional

  • Regularly assess and evaluate personal activity by audit and implement change in a participative manner with colleagues
  • Manages and submits own expenses and books own travel through company procedures

Personal Development

  • Identify personal training needs and continually develop skills and competencies
  • Responsible for personal continual education, training and development

Desirable Skills and Qualities:

  • Relevant experience in the cosmetic and aesthetic industry
  • Minimum of two years within a sales environment
