We are a friendly, supportive GP practice dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare to our local community. We are looking for a Patient Administrator / Receptionist to join our team. This is a key role in ensuring our patients receive an efficient and welcoming service.
Be the first point of contact for patients, providing a professional and friendly service both in person and by telephone.
Manage patient appointments: booking, amending, and cancelling via the practice system.
Register new patients and update medical records accurately.
Process repeat prescriptions and support clinical staff with administrative tasks.
Ensure confidentiality and data protection requirements are always met.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
IT literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
Experience in administration, reception, or customer service.
Previous experience in a GP practice or NHS setting.
Knowledge of clinical systems (e.g. EMIS, SystmOne).
