Salary: £24,434.00 per year

The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Patient Administrator to join their team of staff in the Administration department.

This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

  1. Contribute to the smooth running of the patient administrative process throughout the patient journey.
  2. Ensure the Circle Health Group best practice process maps are followed to provide an efficient, professional, and standard service to all patients, visitors, consultants, and staff.
  3. Ensure all patient queries are dealt with efficiently and professionally.
  4. Manage all incoming and outgoing mail.
  5. Approve electronic bookings received via the relevant system and update any bookings received via email.
  6. Maintain knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act, ensuring appropriate measures are taken for patients, relatives, visitors, hospital staff, and contractors.
  7. Comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems
  • Previous administration experience in a private healthcare environment is beneficial.
