An opportunity has arisen for a Pathology Van Driver to join our existing friendly and hardworking team in the Support Services, Van Driver Team on the Chesterfield Site of Derbyshire Pathology.
You should have a good standard of education and hold a Full UK clean driving licence.
Previous experience of van driving and customer service would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given.
The hours of this post are 1pm to 5pm predominantly, but you are also required to be flexible regarding the working pattern to cover annual leave and sickness to support the needs of the service.

You would be required to drive for long periods whilst collecting/delivering pathology samples/consumables to a schedule in a timely, professional and friendly manner.
Good communication skills are required to build relationships with colleagues and service users, whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Delivery/collection of internal and external post
Reporting of any issues and documenting the upkeep/maintenance of the Pathology Vehicles, solving any problems and taking the initiative to ensure the vehicles are roadworthy.
To become part of a friendly and conscientious team and work flexibly to provide high quality customer service as an ambassador for Derbyshire Pathology.
