Job summary

The Christie Pathology Partnership (CPP) at The Christie Hospital, Manchester, seeks an experienced Training Co-ordinator to lead IBMS training and manage CPP training activities.

Based on-site, you will coordinate training plans, maintain accreditation standards and support apprentices and staff through CPD, while engaging with UKAS/HTA/MHRA inspections. This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time role within SYNLAB UK.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering training and education programmes in line with professional/regulatory guidelines.
• Demonstrable experience in a training role.
• Significant laboratory experience with practical work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain IBMS training laboratory status and expand scope as appropriate.
• Determine and prioritise training needs with available resources.
• Provide a CPP training delivery plan to meet objectives and support managers.
• Develop competency assessment documents for external accreditation.
