Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust are recruiting a Pathology Network Education Trainer to support pathology training within the Trust and across the Southern Counties Pathology Network.

We are looking for someone committed, self-motivated, with solid laboratory experience at Specialist or Senior Biomedical Scientist level and a proactive approach to enabling staff to provide our services.

Qualifications

• Teaching or training experience in a hospital pathology setting
• Experience in coordinating training and CPD activities
• Strong communication and IT skills with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Lead pathology training across UHD and Southern Counties Pathology Network
• Manage competency records and CPD opportunities
• Support registration and specialist portfolios for trainees and scientists
