York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a pathology storekeeper to join the Laboratory Medicine team at York Hospital. You will join a supportive team, handling stock deliveries, distribution, and stock level monitoring while maintaining high service standards for all departments.

Applicants should have good general education, strong communication, and organisational skills, with basic computer knowledge.

Qualifications

• Good standard of general education, and ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues and hospital staff.
• Organisational skills, attention to detail and basic computer knowledge.
• Experience in a stores environment is desirable but training is provided.

Responsabilités

• Receive deliveries from suppliers and check against orders.
• Distribute deliveries to the correct department in a timely manner.
• Monitor stock levels and warn staff when minimum stock is reached.
• Assist with enquiries from delivery personnel and staff in Laboratory Medicine.
• Remove non-clinical and clinical waste from each department.
