Job summaryThe Post holder will provide a high level administrative and secretarial function to the Director of Operations, Head of Operations and wider senior management team, Stakeholder Board, and Pathology Network Board. The Post holder is responsible for the production and maintenance of all network support documentation, the preparation and monitoring of work plans and support materials.
The Post holder will be responsible for the provision of the administrative and clerical service for the division including taking operational management responsibility for administrative and clerical staff.
They will be responsible for the coordination of the department communications function at a network level.
Develop and lead local induction and on-going relevant training programme for admin, clerical and secretarial staff in conjunction with relevant IT systems.

Main duties of the job- Employ high level communication skills to Act as the first point of contact for the Director of Operations and Head of Operations for the Pathology Network.
- Responsible for the preparation and distribution of agendas and associated documents for meetings at all levels within the Trust.
- Attending meetings when required taking and transcribing formal minutes, proactively ensuring that action points raised are completed.
