Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited in Cheltenham are partnering with a leading fleet maintenance business to recruit a Workshop Supervisor (Progression to Manager). You will oversee a team of 25 workshop staff, manage fleet issues, negotiate with parts suppliers and provide financial reports to the directors.

The role is Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm, with 40 hours per week and optional overtime paid at 1.5x. Salary is £55,000-£60,000 plus overtime, with an OTE around £73k.

Qualifications

• Must have experience leading a workshop team and driving improvements.
• Mechanical background with HGV/vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers and present financial updates to directors.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 25 in the workshop.
• Oversee fleet issues and maintain high workshop standards.
• Negotiate with parts suppliers and provide financial reports to Directors.
• Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (40 hours) with optional overtime at 1.5x.
