Job description

PAT Tester / PPM Engineer | Commercial Environments | £38-40K | OTE: £48-50k | Paid Weekly.

Due to increased demand on PPMs (planned preventative maintenance), we are actively recruiting for a PAT Tester / PPM Engineer to work on a mobile basis, across commercial environments.

Duties will include:

  1. Emergency lighting tests
  2. PAT Testing (portable appliance testing)
  3. Fire alarm tests
  4. Fire extinguisher tests
  5. Tap temperatures

Package:
  1. £38,000 - £40,000 base salary
  2. Paid overtime available, x1.5 rate until midnight, x2 rates overnight.
  3. Hours: 9 hour days, varied dependant on client operating hours, ie: 6am-3pm, 7am-4pm, 8am-5pm. This also may require evening/overnight works paid at overtime rates, followed by 12 hours downtime.
  4. Status: Permanent, PAYE position (weekly pay schedule)
  5. Provided: company van and fuel card (business use).
  6. Company pension, uniform, phone, 29 days paid annual leave including bank holidays etc.

Requirements:
  1. Must have experience in a maintenance role within commercial environments.
  2. Must hold PAT testing certificates
  3. Must have experience carrying out the duties listed above.
  4. Must have a driving license with under 9 points.
