About The Job

An opportunity has arisen for a Pastry Sous Chef to join the Jumeirah Carlton Tower. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Develop and execute menus that highlight seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, ensuring high culinary standards.
  • Lead and mentor the kitchen team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, maintaining efficiency and consistency in food preparation and service.
  • Manage food and labor costs through effective planning and waste reduction strategies.
  • Standardize and implement recipes to ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Supervise procurement and inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and supplier relationships..
