Job description

This magnificent HOTEL is looking for an enthusiastic COMMIS PASTRY CHEF to join the high-end kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn, be inspired, and start your career in Pastry, covering everything from bakery, afternoon tea, chocolate work, sugar work, to great desserts.

About the Hotel

The Hotel's Bar & Lounge dining area is relaxed, busy, and fun, overlooking beautiful scenery. It is a popular spot for guests to enjoy drinks, coffee, and afternoon tea. The hotel serves luxury buffets with delectable British, Mediterranean, and Asian dishes, as well as breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests can see their chefs preparing food in an open kitchen using rotisseries, woks, and wood-fired ovens.

Role Overview

As a Commis Pastry Chef, you will assist in preparing and presenting this diverse cuisine. Relevant qualifications such as NVQ are desirable, or you should be willing to study for them. Previous experience is ideal, but enthusiasm for the industry is essential. The client is looking for a positive, flexible, and focused attitude.
