Job summary

CH&CO, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting a Chef on a full-time basis (37.5 hours/week) contracted to 45.6 weeks/year. You will prepare and serve high-quality food, oversee menu changes, and help drive improvements in food services to delight clients and customers.

The role offers development opportunities within a market-leading company. Ideal candidates hold City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, have experience supervising a team, and possess a Food Hygiene certificate.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve our food services.
• Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts.
• Representing CH&CO and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Satefty regulations.
