Job summary

Searcys is seeking a Pastry Chef De Partie in London to join Stationers’ Hall’s team. You will support the Head Chef, lead and mentor junior staff, and deliver high-end pastry for a range of events from fine dining to large corporate functions.

The role offers a 0-hour contract/variable schedule with a shift rate of £18 per hour, mostly Monday to Friday, and access to a range of benefits including pensions, annual leave, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Very well organised and ability to prioritise work load.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain standards.
• Excellent standards and attention to detail.
• Experience in a 5 star hotel or Michelin-star restaurant desirable.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sole responsibility of all desserts and pastry for all events.
• Ensure food remains of highest quality and consistency across events.
• Manage food and produce ordering with wastage, stock and cost records.
• Collaborate with Head Chef on menu development and costing, keeping trends up to date.
• Assist other sections when necessary.
