Job summary

Green & Fortune is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef de Partie to join our kitchen events team, based in London. You will run the pastry section for high-volume events, delivering innovative desserts with efficiency and creative flair.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Pastry CDP or strong Demi, capable of working independently and guiding junior chefs. This role supports and elevates our hospitality offerings across events and venues.

Qualifications

• Experience as Pastry CDP or strong Demi ready to work independently.
• Proven ability to lead pastry production for events and functions.
• Comfort working in a high-volume, hospitality-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Run the pastry section independently, from daily planning and mise en place through to service and close-down.
• Lead pastry production for events, functions, and hospitality bookings, with additional support for restaurant and café service.
• Deliver desserts and baked items to agreed standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Plan production in line with event schedules and service requirements.
• Manage stock rotation, storage, labelling, and temperature control (FIFO).
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety.
• Monitor workflow, timing, and ingredient quality during service.
• Control waste and portioning to support cost control and GP.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Pastry Chef de Partie to join the kitchen events team at Kings Place, in our very own bakery. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a high-volume environment, delivering high-quality pastry creations with efficiency and creativity.

We operate Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends.
