Big Mamma - Pastry Chef de Partie

Big Mamma is a French-Italian restaurant group founded by Victor Lugger and Tigrane Seydoux. Over the past 8 years, we have opened 27 restaurants across Europe, including France, Monaco, England, Spain, Germany, Belgium, and Italy. Our mission is to share authentic, 100% homemade Italian dishes in beautifully designed spaces with big smiles!

Join our team as our Pastry Chef de Partie
Your Mission:
  1. Be part of the Big Mamma kitchen team.
  2. Work in the pastry section to prepare desserts from scratch, including lemon pies and homemade gelato.
  3. Onboard and train new chefs, coach and support your team, and collaborate with kitchen management to ensure the pastry section runs smoothly.
  4. Uphold health & safety standards, maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
  5. Create a magical experience for our customers, making their day special.
  6. Embody Big Mamma values: maintain a warm, professional attitude, support colleagues, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
Your Skills:
  1. Passion for Italian food and a big smile.
  2. Energetic, proactive, and a team player.
  3. Excellent teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
  4. Expertise in Italian desserts and pastry techniques.
  5. Previous experience leading a pastry team in a restaurant setting.
  6. Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.
Our Offer:
  1. Permanent, full-time position.
  2. £18.21 per hour plus Tronc Point.
