Pastry Chef - £17 per hour + Surplus Service Charge

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at Babington House (BA11 3RW). Your main responsibility is to ensure that the food we deliver to our members and guests is of the highest quality. This includes preparing food before service, setting up and stocking kitchen stations, and plating to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up pastry stations before service
• Stock kitchen stations with necessary ingredients and tools
• Plate desserts and pastries to meet quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service

Requirements

• 1-2 years' experience in a busy high-profile kitchen in a similar senior role
• Team player with good communication skills
• Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
• Sense of urgency and ability to multitask
• Genuine passion for food and beverage
• Flexible and available to work opening and closing shifts when required
• Physical ability to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects by hand
• Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
• Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch, and climb as required
