A Pastry Chef role is available at an exciting fresh food Mediterranean day time café and evening bistro which has recently opened. This is an opportunity to join a start up business where the senior Chefs will invest time to train you in order to ensure that you can work to the high standards expected at the venue. In this role of Pastry Chef you will be assisting with the preparation of classic Mediterranean desserts and pastries for the café and bistro menus all of which use fresh seasonal food. The hours will start at 35 per week but this will increase to 40 and the pay will go up to £15 per hour after 3 months.
Requirements:
The Head Chef is seeking a passionate Pastry Chef with experience of working in Mediterranean fresh food kitchens. This role will suit someone committed to learning and progressing with a business, a good attitude and able to work under pressure is also needed for this position.
