Job description

Pastry Chef £38k per annum Live in available - busy high street location in tourist area. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. We are in a great location, a busy tourist high street, with plenty of scope for you to further your creativity in pastry between our summer space and winter snug areas. We've also got a busy brasserie where you can use your talents to create new ideas and develop menus.

The ideal person will have:

  • Strong proficiency in Pastry, with the ability to be multi-skilled throughout the kitchen
  • Assisting the Head Chef with menu ideas
  • Managing the pastry sections
  • Providing training to junior members of the team

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-5 years of Pastry rosette experience
  • Previous experience in a similar position in a rosette kitchen
  • Strong skills in Pastry, with the advantage of being multi-skilled throughout the kitchen

  • Salary up to £38,000 per year
  • Salary increase to £39,000 per annum after 3-month probation
  • Tips paid monthly (circa 3k+ per annum)

  • Weekly pay, working 1-week in arrears
